It’s Going to be Very Difficult . . .
The sidewalk counselor had been standing on the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood downtown, praying for about 45 minutes; a Rosary dangling from one hand, a small stack of flyers in the other. A couple emerged from the front door and started walking toward the sidewalk but stopped about a third of the way down when the woman became very emotional.
Her husband/boyfriend put his arm around her to comfort her, and she put put her head on his chest, breaking down in tears as he embraced her. They paused in this position for a while, and the counselor could hear her sobbing. They continued walking toward the sidewalk. The counselor gave them a sympathetic and understanding look as they approached him, thinking she was grieving from having just completed an abortion.
However, with tears still in her eyes, they paused next to the counselor and she looked at the counselor saying, “I want you to know I’m keeping my baby. I’m keeping my baby. It’s going to be very difficult… but I’m keeping my baby.”
As they continued toward their car, the counselor said “God bless you! God will bless you for this.”
Please pray for this couple.
