Logos Spermaticos: Moral and Mental Nulification

Words are for propagation. All cultures propagandize in that non-pejorative sense, and when they are no longer willing to do so, they die. Words are either spermatic or contraceptive; they bring into being something that is the offspring of the knower and the known or they leave the knower orphaned, an idiot in the strict etymological sense, someone unable to enter into communion who speaks gibberish. Like all procreative acts, speech has consequences, the words we use inch us toward the truth or they nullify it in favor of a barren and coddling lie. Words used to ward off truth, words like those by which the Russian peasants were bombarded by their Soviet overlords, have only contraceptive, and never procreative, power. They fabricate and falsify. The air today is filled with them. Such words may well visit catastrophe on those who use and succumb to them, but the gates of the netherworld shall not succeed in silencing the spermatic Logos, the impregnating Word. But neither will this assault ever cease.
