Nietzschean Conformism

In a book published in 1980, the French theologian and patristic scholar Henri de Lubac warned that “a new tidal wave of Nietzschean conformism has begun to roll over us.” That was more than 40 years ago. That wave threatens to become a tidal wave, a tsunami. It is time to move to high ground: to profess in no uncertain terms the faith against which that tidal wave was let loose.
